Ankeny Oakley Hefeweizen

It’s so good it’s gotta wear shades, oakleys to be specific. The brew on the 23rd of April went off without a hitch (If one ignores a wayward pair of sunglasses). Some coworkers, friends and general beer enthusiasts got together in a garage in Ankeny and brewed the day away. The recipe that was selected was the recipe mentioned earlier, with a few changes *need to get those changes from the DR*. The brew went well along with a demonstration of a pet project of our lead brewer, his reverse flow wort chiller. I took some other pictures as well, so take a few minutes if you’re interested and look around.

Update: fermented, kegged, and tasted. This is a great hefeweisen, and I think the final straw to get me to started doing all-grain brews myself. Amazing!
