VoIP in Des Moines

My home asterisk server is up and running, and I’m and the only things left to do are some polishing on an IVR and getting some ringgroups established. I have a few DIDs that I use for testing and work, and I’ve been happy with the service and customer support I’ve gotten from Vitelity.net. Their service is fantastic. However, the drawback to this setup is the lack of local DIDs. I’ve been wanting to port over my home number and have it tied into my server, and until recently there wasn’t a company in town that provided that service.

Internet Solver here in town is up and running with VoIP service, and I’m porting my home number over this week. I’m dumping Quest phone service altogether and the only thing that bothers me is that I’m going to be leaving freese-notis as an ISP. They’ve been fantastic, and I can’t say enough about their customer service and linux savvy support. I still highly recommend them if you’re looking for an ISP here in Des Moines, but if you’re looking for a local DID for the 515, Internet Solver is the place to go.
